Physicians over prescribing drugs?

Medication gets in the way of grief recovery. Grief is what heals us following a loss. If we avoid the grief, we can’t heal and we prolong the pain. The fastest and most complete way through grief is to experience it as fully and completely as we can. That’s not to say you don’t need a break from time to time, but large amounts of addictive drugs or alcohol just don’t help.
